Bryan and Corinne gifted me with a camellia for my birthday this calendar year, and yesterday Corinne and two granddaughters took me to get it at a nearby nursery not far from me: Hidden Ponds Nursery in Awendaw.
We discovered a wonderful purple camellia, and yet another 1 (pink) jumped into my cart, alongside with a pink canna lily.
There ARE concealed ponds on this house. And I so enjoyed looking at the koi begging for food stuff.
There is also a big assortment of other animals–a gorgeous black duck roaming cost-free, hens in a quite adorable coop, rabbits, goats, a Large rooster in a independent pen, and…DONKEYS.
At the donkey pen, a quite type female experienced appear to visit with the two donkeys (a mother about 8 a long time outdated and her daughter)–which is a little something this incredibly sort individual mentioned she does frequently–and she passed us carrots, apple slices, and peppermint treats created for horses–all of which the donkeys fortunately took from our fingers.
This woman also experienced a beautiful puppy󈞞 % Springer Spaniel and 50 percent poodle–who was taking pleasure in chasing a ball people threw for him. But, unfortunately, I didn’t get a photograph.
Anyway, in a few minutes I’m putting on aged apparel and likely out to plant the canna lily. Bryan will come someday in coming times to assist me with the camellias as they are large for me to plant.
Hmmm…
Probably I will move an azalea that is not thriving to exactly where the rest of these azaleas had been moved–and I will place the pink camellia in that spot. It gets early morning solar and afternoon shade. Fantastic!
